TTArtisan 250mm F5.6 FF Reflex Doughnut Bokeh Overview

6 Elements in 5 Groups, 48-layer highly reflective medium, and Multi-layer ultra-low AR coatings. Aviation Aluminium Anodised Excellent Build.

250mm Focal lens allow the photographer to capture clear and vivid images without getting close to the subjects. Telephoto lens compression is a visual effect where the foreground and background in an image appear closer than they are.

The reflectivity of light in a reflex lens plays a crucial role in the final image, and the TTArtisan 250mm F5.6 Reflex uses a metal mirror structure with a reflectivity of up to 98% to reduce the attenuation of light after two reflections.

The lens design is classic and retro, with a delicate diamond-shaped structure of the focus ring and the bayonet ring that adds friction when using the lens and has a nice tactile quality to it. Because of the special optical design of the reflex ens, it is lighter and smaller than the conventional lens of the same specification.

2m Closest focus distance, the TTArtisan 250mm F5.6 Reflex M42 mount manual telephoto lens can add adapter to easily compatible with Sony, Fuji, Canon, Nikon and Hasselblad cameras.(📢Note: you can use it on any mount you like with an adapter ring. But Adapter Ring is sold Separately, Not include in the package)

Although it is a full-frame lens and has no vignetting when used on APS-C or full-frame cameras. When used on medium format camera, the faint vignetting make the work more artistic.

Better than expected

Mirror lens are difficult to focus and rather low in contrast. I have already tested another some time ago which didn't really convince me. This lens is considerably better. The images are sharper, it is not difficult to focus and you can still get a lot out of the images when editing. However, you should inform yourself about the advantages and disadvantages of this type of construction and read tests before buying. However, the predominantly good rating of this lens seems to be justified. This is my first conclusion after testing this lens with Leica M240.
